Paul Revere, the artisan at the age of 35, by John Singleton Copley exibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Seven years before his midnight ride.
At 79, in his staunch colonial dress. By Gilbert Stuart, in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. 1812/1813, five years before his death at 83.
The Old North Church steeple toppled in the 1804 hurricane; now 16 feet lower.
The Revere family's King Chapel bell, installed in May of 1816, weighing 2.437 pounds, the second largest produced. Also served as the "passing bell' May 10, 1818, the day Paul Revere died. It rang three times to designate a male and 83 times for his age.
Paul's sketch for the Boston Massacre trials.
Edes and Gills printing museum. An action packed ten minutes.
Captain Jackson serves hot chocolate from the 18th C; the third most popular drink after cider and milk
The occupying force had little reverence for burial grounds, church's, landmarks, vacant homes or Colonial laws.
As a young man Paul lived next door to the Hichbourns. Paul's father married Deborah Hichbourn (often spelled differently) .
Paul was 19, and assumed the business upon his father's death, after he paid off his indenture to his mother.
4/18/1770, Paul was rowed across by two friends. A dog, a petticoat and a borrowed horse, played a major role in their success.

to me
Mitch,
Please forgive this tardy message!!
Thank you for making our Boston trip so special for Clay and us. We learned so much rich history and enjoyed your company as well.
Clay started reading his book on the plane…
It has also inspired me to do some history reading on the Revolution.
Again, you are an inspiring guide who goes the extra mile!!
Thank you,
Hxlly, Hxxry Clxy
