John & Abigail Adams National Home and Park

The National Parks Service manages the John and Abigail Adams Homesteads in Quincy Massachusetts.  They conduct a two hour tour starting at the Visitor's Center.  A short trolley ride moves you from the house of John's birth to his final home seen in the pictures above.

The tour will additionally take you to the library built by John Quincy Adams to house John's 3,000 books.  Perhaps half as many of their books are cared for by the Boston Public Library.

The NPS tour guides are experts.  Generally, they have master degrees in history and show a high degree of professionalism.  No question was unanswered.
