The Kennedy Proposal

John Kennedy and his paternal grandfather loved the Omni Parker House.  The oldest continually running hotel in America.  John, made his first speech at the Parker House.  John Fitzgerald partied there before and after each election.

in 1953 at table 40 John proposed to Jackie.  He did get down on his knees and she did tear-up.
​Martin's Tavern in Georgetown suggests they hosted the proposal.
